Who is Eligible to Vote on the TA?
All Active AFA Members in Good Standing are eligible to vote.
Active vs. Inactive - flying vs. on leave
Member vs. Agency Fee Payer - Completed an AFA Membership Application
Good vs. Bad Standing - no delinquent balance owed for dues.
Can New Flight Attendants Vote on the TA?
New Flight Attendants who are scheduled to complete their Apprentice Membership (at least 4 months of flying for United) before the ballot closes will be able to vote during the entire period the ballot is open. The last new hire class to be eligible to vote on the TA is Class 2506 (Graduation date: 3/27/25)
How can I check my Membership Status?
You can check your membership status through the AFA Membership Hub at afa-cwa.org/hub.
If you can’t access the Hub, you can request a login reset at afa-cwa.org/hubhelp.
How will I get my confidential voting activation code?
Ballots and voting instructions will be mailed to your address of record listed in Flying Together. Please allow a few days for arrival.
How do I get a replacement voting activation code?
Replacement activation codes will be available on or after July 10. Requests prior to July 10th will not be accepted. Please allow for time for shipping to your address of record to be completed before requesting a new code.
Once a new code has been requested any previous codes will be invalidated and cannot be used for voting.
When does voting open and close?
Voting opens July 7 at Noon ET
Voting closed July 29 at Noon ET
