Our elected Negotiating Committee works hand-in-hand with our Professional Negotiators / Attorneys, and Consultants throughout the entire negotiations process. Attorney and Professional Negotiator, John Morse is a part of our Negotiating Committee and present at all times. In addition, the resources of our Collective Bargaining Department includes other AFA Attorneys that we work with, and are involved in the process as well.
Our other Consultants such as Economists, Actuaries and Financial Analysts work consistently with us throughout negotiations to ensure we always have expert analysis and assistance during our negotiations. Even with the very best in expert assistance, our Constitution and Bylaws ensures it is Flight Attendants who make up our Negotiating Committee, so that those who know our job are at the table to ensure what is important to us as Flight Attendants is addressed.
Through the surveys, the direct feedback from the Listening Tour, and contact with your elected Local Council Officers, it is United Flight Attendants who determine our goals for these negotiations. With Flight Attendants at the table, we can be sure our collective goals are understood throughout the negotiating process.
The teamwork of expert Consultants, Attorneys, and Negotiators, coupled with our Flight Attendant experience, make up the strongest Negotiating Committee for United Flight Attendants.
